Stepper Motor Half- and Full- Coil Current (no replies)

Hello,

I searched this Forum but couldn`t find an answer (sometimes the search is not working, also...)

I have 4 NEMA23 Stepper Motors 23hs8610. They are rated at 1A per Phase.

Everywhere on the Internet I find different information about the current settings for half- and full- coil configuration.

Sometimes they say that in half-coil configuration to use 1A and sometimes they say to use 1.4*1A

And for full-coil config they say to use 50% of the rated current and sometimes they say to use 0.7*1A

So what is correct?
