It worked for a few seconds, then not, new printer (no replies)

I just got a new 3d printer, fired it up, tried to home but the limit switched had not been hooked up so it hit the end stop and started to ratchet. I hit the power button on the machine to stop it and got the limit switch corrected. but it no longer moves.

When I give it a command to move, any axis seems to kind of take the first step, but then only slightly pulses the motor. The software believes it is moving and I hear the steps in the electronics and the motors vibrate, but no movement.

I think it has a Megtronics v2 board, although I am currently ignorant.

I think it may have been damaged or blew some type of overload because of cutting the power while it was pounding the mechanical end of stroke.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can troubleshoot this?

I am waiting on tech support from the manufacturer, but it seems that this resource may have a better knowledge base.

I can check anything with a meter or report which lights are illuminated on the board if anyone has suggestions.

Any suggestions would be great, Thank for reading, Ken
